This place was ideal in general with a great staff team. Thoroughly enjoyed an electric kettle, a dishwasher, and a refrigerator in the room. Overlooked garden. The hotel had a good and lovely location down the hill.

Had 1 day in Durham, spending my time here lovely. The staff were very friendly and welcoming hole time of my stay. The location was peaceful for exploring this fairly nice area, very close to Durham and surrounding areas, city centre, and a taxi. Visited a few interesting places, including St John the Evangelist, located just a short walk away from the venue. I liked spending time here.

We stayed here for 1 night and really enjoyed the place. The bed was nice, the room - huge and high standard. The hotel staff was helpful and welcoming.
